I hope this finds you eating something delicious, dreaming about your next meal or sitting back savoring something you just finished enjoying!
The egg always feel like the all-American breakfast but when you travel you realize it is a beloved staple all over the world! Every country seems to have their egg classics. France is no exception.
From the decadent Croque Madame (Griddled ham and cheese with béchamel sauce) to the poached egg, lardon (cubes of bacon) and frisee salad to my favorite – The quiche! This is no ordinary quiche. Check out the video and have a tasty day! Take care and thanks for reading!
Feed the hungry by making a pledge (no cost) to eat good. Do good every day. America’s egg farmers are donating up to one million eggs to feed the hungry.
Eat well, Enjoy life, Be happy
no fair! you didn’t tell us what veggies and other ingredients are in the quiche. one of the things i like best about you is your ability to describe exactly what flavors and testures you’re eating but you didn’t do that. i’d like a “do over”!
Hello Shirley, You are right! I was so lost in the brilliant consistency of the egg and the crust the veggies became and afterthought. Sorry
Take care and thanks for reading! Best, Jeffrey
Jeffrey, thank you for the effort you took to “carry us along” the streets of Paris to the cafe where all the beautiful food was seen and so exquisitely described. How difficult was it to resist saying, “I’ll take one of everything!” Thanks again. (Also appreciated the photos of your beautiful children).
Well said Joyce! I was tempted. Thanks for reading and take care! Jeffrey
Thanks for the virtual trip to Paris. The food in Gerard Mulot looks amazing. Hope to visit there when I return to Paris.
Bon voyage
Thank you Rebecca! Best, Jeffrey
I think I would have ordered the clafoutis. Or a croissant au beurre…. because a regular croissant doesn’t have enough butter lol
I miss Paris…. sigh. (I lived there for a few years growing up) Thanks for bringing me back.
Thanks Sasha, my pleasure! Jeffrey
Hello and thank you! I will be happy to. Jeffrey
